If not going to school for more education, her interests are surrounding a longtime desire to be a historian, and she enjoys all periods of history but is greatly interested in the Civil War Era. In pursuit of more knowledge is a combined goal to help preserve history for the generations to come.

Bonnie Sisk is a native of Perry, Florida. She started her college career at then, Georgia Southwestern College, and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree concentrating in Chemistry. After graduating she decided while planning long-term goals to work on her Teaching Certification, and by “what she calls Divine Intervention” received a calling through a brochure from the Medical College of Georgia Physician Assistant Program. Recalling the bedside manner and care she had received by a PA after an orthopedic injury and subsequent surgery she felt compelled to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant. She felt this was her place to be, providing medical care and still having time to get to know patients on a more personal level. Bonnie graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Medical College of Georgia. She joined the Albany Internal Medicine clinical staff in July 1995. Since that time she has enjoyed the compassionate, quality, and medical expertise that embodies Albany Internal Medicine.

She has also gone on to pursue a Master’s and Doctorate in Religious Education, followed by a Master’s in Theology from South West Georgia Theological Seminary and hopes to complete the Doctoral degree in theology in the future. These degrees were more for the personal interest and knowledge, to help her more in the day to day routine of life and ability to empathize with others.
