Owen enjoys spending time with family. Growing up Owen spent a lot of time with his grandparents. He feels that his grandfather was a huge part of his life and while he is no longer with him, he is still with the entire family in spirit now that Owen has his own children. Owen wants to ensure that his children spend as much time with all his family members as possible and feels it is important to instill those traits in his own children.
Owen knew from an early age that he wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. He has been involved in the healthcare field since high school, and he has volunteered, or worked, in various aspects of health care throughout high school and college. After completing his bachelor’s degree, he went back to school to become a paramedic, and he then worked locally in Dougherty County as a medic until he went back to school to become a Physician Assistant. Owen graduated from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Myers, Florida.
Owen is a native of Albany, GA and recently returned home after working in Naples, Florida. While in Florida, he worked for a clinic that was devoted to treating area first-responders, police, fire, and EMS personnel, and their families. He and his family are happy to be back home.
