Q: What are your office hours?

A:
We are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

Q: Do AIM physicians see patients in the hospital?

A:
Our physicians rotate hospital rounds at Palmyra on a weekly basis. This ensures that one AIM physician sees all AIM patients 7 days in a row, and then another AIM doctor takes over.

At Phoebe, AIM patients are taken care of by the Phoebe Hospitalists, Internists who specialize in the care of hospitalized patients.

Q: How can I get in touch with a doctor after hours or on the weekend?

A:
One of our 9 physicians is on call at all times. By simply dialing our main office number (229-438-3300), you can leave a voice message for the doctor on call to call you back.

Q: How can my prescriptions be refilled?

A:
Request refills from your pharmacy or notify our office 24 hours in advance for written prescriptions. It is our office policy not to call in/refill prescriptions for sleeping pills or pain medications on nights or weekends. These refills need to be requested during office hours.

Q: What if I get sick on the weekend?

A:
Call the AIM main number (438-3300) to leave a message. Our on-call physician will call to discuss your symptoms and necessary follow-up.

Q: How do I find out if you accept my insurance?

A:
Simply call your insurance company and ask.
