Geriatrics

More and more Americans are living longer than ever before. But longevity alone isn’t sufficient – what’s important to older adults is being healthy and independent enough to enjoy their golden years. That’s a sentiment AIM shares.

We have assembled equipment, expertise, and programs to help older patients cope with special health care needs related to aging.

All of AIM’s ten physicians are board-certified in internal medicine, and one is also board-certified in geriatrics, the branch of medicine that focuses on health promotion and the prevention and treatment of disease and disability later in life.

That means AIM offers healthcare services geared toward the unique and, oftentimes, multiple health concerns of patients 65 and older.

We’re also happy to offer support and resources for the caregivers of our older adult patients.
