Personal Interests

Ashley enjoys playing tennis and is a member of the United States Tennis Association. She is also dedicated to staying active and does so by riding her bicycle, kayaking, and hiking. She enjoys being outdoors and takes advantage of that in her free time by working in her yard or taking leisure walks.

Biography

Ashley Keen has known that the medical field was her calling long before she pursued her career. She made up her mind that health care was where she wanted to be, and she has been working towards that goal since graduating high school in 2005. “I started my career as a licensed practical nurse and worked myself up to a master’s degree in nursing. I am grateful for the experience I have gained along the way which has also prepared me to be a competent provider.” Ashley has a passion for the medical field, and that’s why she always puts her patients first. “Not only does the human anatomy fascinate me, but I also look forward to helping others and can do so by guiding my patients to live a happier and healthier life.” Ashley is also devoted to health promotion and education and appreciates that the first step is the patient and family member understanding the depth of their health care. Ashley was born and raised in Leesburg, GA and looks forward to practicing with the healthcare team at Albany Internal Medicine and her hometown.
